So a long while ago, I used to play a game called Space Engineers, where I just built ship concepts for the fun of it, turns out, you can Export the 3D models of the craft to an OBJ file, and essentially have a kitbash program in a game.
Though bringing it into Blender reveals that the SE OBJ file has millions of verticies, you need to merg alot of verticies to save performance.
Once in Blender, you can model the shell of your smooth custom varient, modifying it more towards the wanted style, making a new sleek and more realistic looking craft in less than a week, and with Decal Machin3 you can apply decals atop seemless textures resulting in more detail across the craft.
Initial design and Glass test
Smoother edges, more realisticly streamlined design, gear still WIP
